Steel Seal™ creates a permanent seal that will withstand high temperatures and high pressure. The product can be used in both petrol and diesel engines.

Steel Seal™ combines with an antifreeze/water mixture and is poured into the radiator of a cold engine. Once the engine is started and reaches operating temperature, Steel Seal™ is distributed through the engine. The product is drawn into the damaged area due to the extra heat created this in turn starts the process and seals the crack with a thermo-chemical bonding action process.

Hi Harry I am not sure if you remember me. I was the guy with a BMW head gasket problem who purchased two bottles of Steel Seal, a thermostat, and 5 litres of anti freeze. The BMW was using water, overheating and jerking plus the hoses were all pumped up with cylinder head gas pressure. I was pretty sceptical that this steel seal treatment would work but the alternative was a minimum outlay of £750 for a new gasket to be fitted - and that's if the head wasn't cracked! So I had a go, following the instructions to the letter, including replacing the thermostat. Well I have used the car now on 5 occasions, a total of 60 miles at speeds up to 80 mph as well as slow moving traffic, with no problems. Great stuff eh? I am assuming that the crack or/and gasket are sealed permanently and as you can imagine I am very pleased. Yep, I can really recommend the product! Regards John Collins
